Emotions

This week we’ve been showered with love…and apologies!

Zoe’s started freely expressing, “I love you, Mommy!” especially right before bed. And often requests a “hud”, “tiss” and a high-five at the same time.

That melts my heart. The other thing that softens this sucker up is her sugary sweet, “Sorry Mommy!” when she does something bad. To date it’s meant immediate forgiveness, but at the rate she’s going, something’s gonna have to give. This kid’s trouble! ;P

It’s not dod, it’s dog!

Another sniff-she’s-growing-up-so-fast moment: my baby learned to pronounce the “g” sound!

Until today, it’s been “doonight” (goodnight) and “doddie” (doggie) and all kinds of awesome mispronunciations. Literally overnight, it’s gone! Waaaahhhh.

She hasn’t caught on to the “k” sound yet though, so I’m gonna cherish that one for a bit longer. Looking forward to a zoo trip to see the “monteys” sometime soon.
